Summary

*Running Time => 10hrs。*

From the 'USA Today' best-selling author of 'A Curve in the Road' comes a sweeping and captivating tale of one woman’s journey to the lush vineyards of Tuscany - and into the mysteries of a tragic family secret。

If Fiona has learned anything in life, it’s how to keep a secret - even from the father who raised her。 She is the only person who knows about her late mother’s affair in Tuscany thirty years earlier, and she intends to keep it that way。。。until a lawyer calls with shocking news: her biological father has died and left her an incredible inheritance - along with two half siblings。

Fiona travels to Italy, where the family is shocked to learn of her existence and desperate to contest her share of the will。 While the mystery of her mother’s affair is slowly unraveled, Fiona must navigate through tricky family relationships and tense sibling rivalries。 Fiona both fears and embraces her new destiny as she searches for the truth about the fateful summer her mother spent in Italy and the father she never knew。

Spilling over with the sumptuous flavors and romance of Tuscany, 'THESE TANGLED VINES' takes listeners on a breathtaking journey of love, secrets, sacrifice, courage - and most importantly, the true meaning of family。

I couldn't put it down。 If you are a historic fiction fanatic, then this novel is the one for you! The first page had me hooked and the words were so well written。 I would definitely recommend reading this, because it is full of twists and turns while getting attached he'd to the characters。 It was easy to follow the transition from present day to the 1960's。 If you are a Lucinda Riley fan, then this is a must read! Such a quick and powerful read about love and its consequences both positive and negative。 After initially thinking it would be a fru-fru blah blah shallow story, it ended up being an interesting story with depth to it。 Definitely worth the read!

Family secrets and a winery in TuscanyFiona finds out she has family that runs a winery when her dad dies。 But there are all sorts of secrets and unraveling them is not easy。 Adding to that is the dad who raised her after a terrible injury。 Figuring it all out tests them all。

If you are looking for a good book to read on the beach this summer, this is the book for you。 When I started reading, I didn’t know what to expect, but I soon found that this is a fantastic novel。 The story held my interest throughout。 It’s full of mystery, drama and a true love story。 The author is unique in that she covered all the bases and left nothing unsaid。 She completes the story。 I could hardly put the book down。

A "beach read" and basically a love story (with a bit of steamy action now and again) but what I liked was the beautiful description of the winery in Tuscany - the fields of grapes, the buildings, the countryside, the tours and the wine! Overall, this is a good story。 There are some factual errors, though, that really put me off。The red wine of Montepulciano is Vino Nobile de Montepulciano。 Brunello is the wine of Montalcino。 No one confuses the two。 Wines of this region do not include merlot or syrah grapes。 White wines are not produced here。If you are in Tallahassee, you cannot be at a Gulf beach。When you enter the Piazza in Montepulciano and arein front of the town hall, the church is on your left。These are small things unles Overall, this is a good story。 There are some factual errors, though, that really put me off。The red wine of Montepulciano is Vino Nobile de Montepulciano。 Brunello is the wine of Montalcino。 No one confuses the two。 Wines of this region do not include merlot or syrah grapes。 White wines are not produced here。If you are in Tallahassee, you cannot be at a Gulf beach。When you enter the Piazza in Montepulciano and arein front of the town hall, the church is on your left。These are small things unless you have been to these places。 Then they are glaring errors。 Since the author States she had been to Tuscany, there is no excuse for them。 。。。more

The storyline is so implausible, and I wonder if the author has ever been to Italy。

What an unexpectedly good book。 I found it on my list and started reading it。 Couldn’t put it down。 What a good story。 I have been reading a lot of family history Novels lately and thought this was another。 It turned out to be a surprise。 Not a who am I but a discover who I am book and how love and family fit it。 Good job

A very good read!I was pleasantly surprised by the storyline itself。 It is so good to read a current author who relies on the story itself。。。 and not on gimmicks or sorted sex scenes。 There was enough mystery to keep your attention。 The characters well developed as the story moved forward。。。 but the themes of REAL love and TRUE forgiveness, are to me, what makes the book so good!

I enjoyed this story very much。 The author transports you to Tuscany and her description of the Tuscan countryside is spot on。 It felt like I was actually visiting Tuscany。 When Fiona receives a phone call from a lawyer telling her that her biological father has passed away and left her a fortune in Tuscany。 So, Fiona hops the next flight to Tuscany。 When she meets with the family who knew nothing about her, they contest the Will。 The twists and turns of the plot were very engaging。

Good wine, good readI loved the two stories and the skillful intertwining of the past and the present。 The descriptions of the scenery, the food, and the joie de vivre found in Tuscany made me want to go enjoy them myself。
